Building Bridges with Your Child
Parents-Kids Joint Workshop
Parenting is a rewarding journey, but when it comes to career decisions, it can sometimes feel like uncharted territory. Parents often struggle to connect with their child’s unique aspirations and concerns, especially in today’s rapidly evolving world. My counseling sessions for parents are designed to bridge this gap and empower you to actively support your child’s career development.
Using Design Thinking as the foundation, I guide parents through engaging persona workshops that provide deep insights into their child’s personality, interests, and goals. These sessions help parents “step into their child’s shoes,” fostering empathy and understanding. I also teach practical techniques for active listening, effective communication, and building trust — critical skills for becoming a friend and mentor to your child.
What makes my service unique is its focus on collaboration and innovation. I don’t just provide advice; I create a safe space where parents and children can work together, explore possibilities, and co-design a meaningful career path. By the end of the session, you’ll have not only a better understanding of your child but also tools to guide them with confidence and care. Together, let’s build a foundation for your child’s success.
